Wachau Valley- Day Trip

 WACHAU VALLEY

Wachau Valley is an Austrian region, located near the Danube River, west of Vienna. It is known for is hills, wineyards and castle. I went to this beautiful town of Durnstein .

From Vienna, I took a train to Krems and in about 1.5 hours I reached there. I explored this beautiful town which has a population of only 25000. Amazing stores and shops all around made me fell in love with this place.

After that, I visited Durnstein, from Krems I took a bus and reached Durnstein in about 20 minutes. THIS IS A HIDDEN GEM ❤❤❤❤πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

This day trip was a memorable one❤ I hiked to the Drnstein castle which was a moderate trekking, better to wear shoes because slope is very slippery. It looked like an abandoned castle but had some great and stunning views of the town.

I really wished I had more time to see, but unfortunately my battery got down, there was no Wifi or charging points in any of this area. I hope to go here again !!
